September 20, 2023. Blanking lines with servo presses have emerged in recent years as an improved alternative to conventional clutch-brake lines. Thanks to them, installations improve productivity with efficient energy consumption.
Press blanking lines allow complex geometries to be cut and stacked at high speeds and are mainly used in the automotive industry. Like cross-cutting lines, they are intended to transform a parent coil into flat-format part bundles.
The main advantages achieved are:
- Accurate positioning of the press carriage which facilitates die change or maintenance maneuvers.
- Quick start-up.
- Increased speed.
- Quick reversal of the press movement.
- Smoothness of operation and greater accuracy in the control of press, feeding roller and oscillating die.
