A multidisciplinary team traveled to South Carolina (USA) to carry out this assembly.

September 20, 2023. Blanking lines with servo presses have emerged in recent years as an improved alternative to conventional clutch-brake lines. Thanks to them, installations improve productivity with efficient energy consumption.

Press blanking lines allow complex geometries to be cut and stacked at high speeds and are mainly used in the automotive industry. Like cross-cutting lines, they are intended to transform a parent coil into flat-format part bundles.

The main advantages achieved are:

  • Accurate positioning of the press carriage which facilitates die change or maintenance maneuvers.
  • Quick start-up.
  • Increased speed.
  • Quick reversal of the press movement.
  • Smoothness of operation and greater accuracy in the control of press, feeding roller and oscillating die.

The assembly of this type of lines requires a qualified and multidisciplinary team so that the whole process of assembly and installation is perfectly finished, from the Timplines Global Business Group and through our subsidiary North America Timplines has executed the assembly of this type of line for one of our customers, located in the state of South Carolina in the United States.
